    "Summer Heights High" is out there

    HBO has a tendency to deliver some racy, out there shows and this one is no different. I watched the season sporadically and did not get it until the end (kind of).
    It's a mockumentary of a term in an Australian public school. The show was originally made for Australian television.

    This is a documentary about Sirio Maccioni, his wife and their three sons. It is a behind the scenes look at the ups and downs of their restaurant in New York City that entertains dignitaries, artists, celebrites and the New York social elite.

    This documentary follows the owner and his three sons thru the closing of Le Cirque at the Palace Hotel following the 2004 New Years Eve bash through the rebirth in New York's Bloomberg Tower two years later.

    Duane "Dog" Champman cracks me up! I absolutely love watching "Dog the Bounty Hunter." I do not know what draws me more to this show - Dog and Beth's crazy hairdos and outfits or Dog's sage advice. It truly is a toss-up.

    You may not realize it from the abundance of professional black athletes today but there was a time when they weren't allowed to be on college football fields, or even on a university campus.

    "BTH" takes you on a journey from the 1950s to the 1970s showing how black athletes were integrated into such colleges as USC, Maryland, and Alabama.

    The new Fox drama "Lie to Me," premiering Jan. 21, was inspired by the scientific discoveries of Dr. Paul Ekman, a real life specialist who reads clues embedded in the human face, body and voice to expose both the truth and lies in criminal investigations.
    The show stars Tim Roth ("Reservoir Dogs" and "Funny Games"), in a role that seems like a nearly perfect match for the actor's somewhat snarky persona.
