I have heard about this .. when a person tries to vote for McCain it will not work .. Only votes for Obama are counted.. I do hope they fix this problem.

    Posted by tjk70 on 11/04/08 at 11:59AM

sure skoop3.......exactly what is the source of this "I have heard about this" info? The post standard, election officials, or Billy and Jimbob and skeeter from the local bar.

    Posted by skopp3 on 11/04/08 at 12:18PM

No I think it was when ACORN was at my house trying to register my illegal immigrant husband to vote for Obama.. but in the end they could only sign up my dog because she was born here in the USA ..

Yeah...I also heard that there were pigs with lipstick on them flying around Ohio. Must be true...I saw it in the internet!

I was purged from the Voter's Book and I went to 3 different place's where I was told to go and they could not find me on the book to vote but I voted by paper. Kinda funny that I was purged but my other half was not me=Dem Other Half=Rep so i guess the dirty tricks made it here to Syracuse to Purge Dem voters to help the Old Fart win.

    Posted by skopp3 on 11/04/08 at 1:29PM

if you were purged then it because you had not voted in at least the last two presidental elections.. You forgot to mention that .. I guess your other half is a more responsible American ..

    skoop3 -

before you assert your political genius for all to see, my dad passed away in '95, he's still on the books.

Guess he's still a real American.

Dems never come off the rolls

I voted at the Beauchamp Public Library. I was astounded that this place was chosen as a polling place for two wards, ward 6 and I believe 16 (?). The library did not have enough parking space, there was not enough room for people to wait in line, there were only two booths- one for each ward, and one of the machines broke down. Approximately 50 people had to fill out paper ballots and 30 people had voted using the machine before it broke down. Let's hope that those votes are truly counted.

There were places that were allowing people that have been purged to sign papers to allow them to vote. I think if they have the proper ID and such they should be able to.

I never had to show identification. Is it required?
